William Shatner Signs with Country Music Record Label

It has just been announced that William Shatner has been signed to Heartland Records Nashville. The actor joins the country music label's roster of artists including Cash Creek, Jeff Cook (Alabama),and more.

According to Heartland Records' website, "This new project promises to be one of the most entertaining musical ventures to date for the Emmy Award-winning actor." It is set to be released later this year with more details coming soon.

Shatner is an actor, director, author, as well as a singer who is best known for his work in Boston Legal and Star Trek. The 86-year-old shared the message below to Twitter stating, "What is this guy up to now?".
