Luke Bryan is gearing up for the release of his sixth studio album, What Makes You Country, tomorrow (December 8). With many successes under his belt, the country star is reflecting on the people who have influenced his career the most throughout the years.

The "Light It Up" singer reveals he gravitated towards Alan Jackson as a kid due to how humble his persona was. Bryan also loved his music because of how "genuinely country" it was and always will be.

Jackson's smash hit, "Chattahoochee," changed the 41-year-old's life forever. "I don't know if they'll ever be a bigger uptempo song in the history of country music," Bryan said.
