Thomas Rhett experienced plenty of Life Changes in 2017. The country superstar adopted his daughter Willa Gray in May, welcomed a baby girl, Ada James, in August, and released his third studio album in September.

On top of it all, Rhett has earned himself a nomination for Best Country Album at this year's GRAMMYs. Life Changes features 14 tracks that give his fans a personal reflection of his real life.

Rhett sat down with the Recording Academy to discuss his nomination and more. “I went through a lot of life you know before that record got to come out,” Rhett said. "There’s something different when you hear GRAMMY behind it.”
