Clint Black Developing New Christmas Musical

Clint Black has just announced he is developing a Christmas musical set for a December reading in New York. The country singer is writing new material for the production of 'Looking for Christmas," which will also feature tracks from his 1995 holiday album.

According to Variety, the musical tells the story of a veteran trying to reconnect with is wife and daughter while suffering from PTSD. Joining Black is writer James D. Sasser, director Kent Nelson, and music supervisor Chales Vincent Burwell.

The musical would also incorporate some of Black's biggest hits. At this time it is uncertain whether or not his newest project will make it to Broadway.
