Blake Shelton Announces Forthcoming Album, 'Texoma Shore'

September 22, 2017

Blake Shelton has announced his forthcoming album, Texoma Shore, will be released November 3. The country superstar's next project will circle back to his traditional country roots.

“Lake Texoma has always been a place of great memories, new and old,” said Shelton. “I literally recorded this album on its shore so it’s full circle for me to take the love of this place and my love of country music.”

Texoma Shore follows Shelton's album, If I'm Honest, which was the best selling country album of 2016. He recently introduced the record to his fans with the lead single, "I'll Name The Dogs."

Shelton admits he wanted to try something different for Texoma Shore and has explored every part of the genre. "I love great songs and there are so many talented writers in Nashville, but I do have a song on the album that I wrote and I'm very proud of it.”

Blake Shelton will return as a coach on NBC's The Voice September 25.
