It's a question that we all ask this time of the year: when is it too soon to decorate your home for Christmas? We just finished saying "trick or treat?" one week ago... so is it OK to decorate for those holidays? Or is it still too soon to break out your Christmas tree or blowup lawn ornament?

Take our poll to let us know how you feel:

We're on the fence on the issue, so we'll be watching the results closely. In fact, we don't even have an opinion on the issue.

We see both sides of the argument. There's an argument to be made for decorating early, and there's plenty of a reason to think you should have to wait to decorate:

It is one thing to listen to Christmas music this time of the year, and we can totally justify starting your holiday shopping a little early. Who can say no to that sale at the mall, right?

But having frosty lit up in your front lawn in early November? We're not judging. Maybe the weather was great the other day, and you couldn't pass up the opportunity to decorate a little early.

There's also an argument to be made that just the time between Thanksgiving and New Year's is a little too short to actually enjoy your tree and other bright decorations for the holiday season. So why not put them up a little earlier so you can enjoy them longer?

On the flip side, you could argue that breaking out the tinsel this early takes away the magic of the holidays. Folks who feel that way often say "wait until Thanksgiving." After all, what happened to Thanksgiving? How does it get overlooked every year?

We're on the fence on the issue, so that's why we have the poll above. Sound off and let us know what YOU think.
