Last Friday was one of the most moving days I've ever had. I visited the 9/11 Memorial Museum. From the moment I stepped foot on the block, I was overcome with emotions - sadness for the victims, admiration for the first responders but most of all, pride for our country. It was truly incredible to hear stories of heroism, bravery and people just caring for one another.

The fountains that are placed where the towers used to stand are massive and mute out the city as you get closer to them. On a few names, there was a white rose placed. This rose symbolizes that today would've been that person's birthday.

If you get the chance to visit the memorial, take it! We were there for over 3 hours and still didn't get through a large portion of it but what I did take away is that we all need to hold our loved ones a little tighter each day. Tommorow is not guaranteed.
