The Hottest NFL Jerseys Heading Into Week 7

October 16, 2017

You can usually grade the relative popularity and success of an NFL player by the sales of their jerseys. Case in point, heading into Week 7 of the NFL season, The Philadelphia Eagles' second-year signal caller Carson Wentz has claimed the top spot, according to Dick's Sporting Goods' Jersey Report.

Sales of Wentz jerseys topped last week's top player, Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys. Prescott actually fell two spots, moving the Patriots' Tom Brady up to #2. The top 5 was rounded out by the Denver Broncos' Von Miller and the Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Mitch Trubisky

Of course, this is only in the last week -- a week that saw Wentz defeat Cam Newtown in Carolina on Thursday and Prescott follow up a loss to the Rams with a loss to the Packers. However, so far on the season, Dak remains the best selling jersey of 2017, followed by Brady, Wentz, fellow Cowboy Ezekiel Elliott, and Miller -- the only defensive player in the top 10.
