Weekend in Philly

May 31, 2017

For Memorial Day Weekend, Michele and I headed to Philly to do tourist stuff and today I'll give you 6 pictures. Friday evening, after dinner we headed down to Penn's Landing in Old City (my old neighborhood) on the Delaware River. Saturday, we visited the brand new Museum of the American Revolution. It just opened a few weeks ago. While at Penn's Landing we stopped at the Irish Memorial. In Old City is the oldest street in America called Elfreth's Alley which dates back to 1702.

Saturday night after attending an anniversary for our friend's bar, we walked about a mile to a concert featuring Philly's own Hall & Oates and Tears for Fears. Since we didn't feel like paying for the tickets, we stood outside the fence with about 30 other people enjoying the concert. This explains why the picture is so bad...but fun none the less!
