It's Not Fair

April 14, 2017

For the time being, when I find myself in Philly, I always have a place to crash. My older son Christian lives in Old City and has a nice place right along the Delaware River by the Ben Franklin Bridge. Every time Christian comes home to visit, the fridge is fully stocked and Michele always calls him to ask anything else he would like. Last week, my first item of business was to check his refrigerator and this hollow ice box is what I saw. I see some old cheese, beer, a piece of candy, baking soda and some dog food in a bowl. Now, I occasionally watch the Food Network and "Chopped" but I don't think there's any meal you can create out of this. Believe me, I appreciate the accommodations but we'll have to pack a cooler full of food for the trip.
