Busy Busy Weekend!

July 17, 2017

What a weekend! we were all over NEPA for work and for fun. After a great morning on Friday at Sharon's Place in Scranton, Michele and I headed out to Beech Mountain to catch up with friends and see the band performing. Even though there was rain most of the day, there was beautiful sunset at Beech Mountain. Saturday morning, I had the day off so I checked my garden (because that's what I do). What's up with this tomato? Some people told me too much water, others said not enough. I'm open for suggestion. Since it was a beautiful day, we took a drive to Honesdale and had lunch at the Trackside Grill. The food was excellent and the staff was so friendly. Saturday night, we attended the Transfiguration Church Bazaar in West Hazleton and saw the band Big Country. I enjoyed watching the little old ladies preparing the fried dough. Finally Sunday, Michele joined me at the 18th Annual Rolling Thunder Ride to benefit the Gino Merli Veterans Center in Scranton. A ton of bikers showed up for the ride and Dani-elle supplied the music on stage. A great weekend in NEPA!
