Brace Yourselves for the Mermaid Frappuccino
By: Branden Griffith
The Unicorn Frappuccino from Starbucks was short-lived, but it didn't take long for the monstrosity to go viral and change the course of humanity forever. Demand for the drink thinned out the already-endangered unicorn herds and now Starbucks has set its sights on a new mythical species—the mermaids.

"It is now here! Today we can share together my favorite drink: Mermaid Frappuccino. #MermaidSeason"
That's right, we finally rid ourselves of the Unicorn Frappuccino but Starbucks has returned with a new concoction called the "Mermaid Frappuccino."
While the drink looks less like a mermaid and more like they ground up Sully from Monsters, Inc. and poured it into a cup, it's supposedly an homage to the company's iconic mermaid in the logo.
According to a Starbucks spokesperson, the drink is a green melon creme base, topped with blue vanilla whipped cream and blue and pink sprinkles and like the Unicorn Frappuccino, it will only be available for a limited time and for now, only in Mexico due to some ingredients being unavailable in the U.S..
No word yet on whether or not Starbucks employees hate making this as much as they did the Unicorn Frap.
