Apple Will Unveil New iPhones Today

August 29, 2017

Today is the big day! Apple will unveil the latest (and greatest) version of its popular iPhone today. The announcement will be made during Apple's keynote address. The address begins around 1pm ET.

The iPhone, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, is expected to have a complete redesign. Rumors are swirling that the device (which may be called iPhone X) will have serious changes. One of the most notable changes is that Apple is expected to ditch the home button on the device.

According to multiple sources, the new model will cost around $1,000.

The new iPhone is also rumored to have an OLED display, wireless charging, and facial recognition. But does that still warrant the hefty price tag?

Oh, and if you want to be one of the first people to get your hands on the 8, be prepared to wait. The new phone has seen numerous production delays, which likely means limited quantities will be available at launch.

If you don't want to wait or you don't want to spend so much money, Apple will also be announcing an updates to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7s.Those devices are expected to be available at prices that are significantly cheaper than the "iPhone X."
